Lines and Shapes
Use lines and shapes to help your drawings look amazing!
For your drawings, a good technique is to start off by using basic shapes to break down the animal. Like the picture to the right, the dog's ear is replaced with a triangle, a basic shape. If you want your lines to be perfect, I suggest you use a ruler or edge of something that is straight. This technique will help you with your drawings.
Emotions in Art
Add emotion to your art!
When you are creating art, it is nessasary to have emotion in it. If it is a cloudy drawing, use shading to make it look gloomy. It's like when you look down a dark alleyway and get the chills. When you create a drawing of a dark alleyway, you want to include shading as well to give the audience the same feeling of the chills when they are looking at your drawing. In the drawing to the left, it is a bit blurry, showing that there is probably supposed to be heavy mist or fog in the picture. You can also see clouds that are above the landscape.
